I’m stoked to announce our big site revamp here at Sales Schema. You might have noticed the wider layout, increased legibility, and general improvement. Continuing with WordPress, we went with the Genesis Framework from Studio Press. I have to say, I’m very happy with it.
For one, I wanted to make the site experience more enjoyable. But here’s the bigger reason:
If you’re in sales, you’re probably experiencing the effects of digital disruption on some level. The most successful modern sales teams are those that offer their customers an immersive digital experience before engaging them. The changing sales landscape melds B2C marketing with B2B sales. It brings together the stuff that gets clicks with the stuff that closes deals.
If you sell an enterprise software app this is old news – you might offer a demo or freemium model leading to a sales consultation. If you sell IT services, insurance, or some other non-digital product, adapting to the disruption involves creativity. It’s a non-linear journey.
The new Sales Schema will help you on this journey. You’ll get more articles, courses, books, and multimedia on the newest strategies, tools, and hacks that mesh sales and marketing. Keep an open mind – I think you’re going to like where we’re headed.
Stay tuned next week where you’ll learn about new apps and tips for lead generation and sales. Also, we’ll dig further into how non-digital offerings can stay ahead of the changing tides.
